The Canadian National Education Exchange Centre (CNEEC) and representatives from the University of Ottawa convened a series of meeting April 9-10, 2024, to advance their academic partnerships. This growing partnership is crucial as it establishes new pathways for students enrolled in the General Study Program (GSP) to complete their education in Canada.
The visit also provided CNEEC with an opportunity to deepen its understanding of this prestigious U15 university, exploring student accommodations, learning resources, and the rich history of the institution nestled in the heart of Canada’s capital, Ottawa.
Discussions were held with various departments, including the Faculty of Science, the Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute (OLBI), Admissions, and International Market Development. A primary outcome of these meetings was the establishment of contacts and channels for ongoing dialogue. Furthermore, CNEEC is collaborating with OLBI to finalize an agreement that will facilitate the recruitment of students into the University of Ottawa’s English Language Learning programs.
CNEEC acknowledges University of Ottawa’s significant role as an educational institute at the forefront of learning in Canada.
