Education Committee of Sichuan Province in China also approved, following
Shandong University, the General Study Program
(GSP) at Southwest
Jiaotong University, under the cooperation of Canadian National
Education Exchange Center (CNEEC) and Southwest Jiaotong University
(SWJTU), in 2002.
Southwest Jiaotong

as transfer students by seven Canadian universities up to 2005.
Currently about 70 students are studying in the GSP at SWJTU, they
were admitted in 2004 and 2005, respectively.
