restricted due to lack of proficiency in English, while costs
of studying in Canada are also a problem. Combined with the complicated process and visa application,
studying in Canada is unfortunately out of reach for many eager
students.
To overcome these obstacles and open up an attractive, reliable, safe and
easily accessible path, both for Chinese students wishing to receive
further education in Canada and for Canadian universities wanting to recruit qualified Chinese students, CNEEC,
in cooperation with prestigious Chinese universities, has initiated the General
Study Program (GSP). This initiative has effectively developed a supplementary potential student market

University (SDU) and Southwest
Jiaotong University (SWJTU), have partnered with CNEEC to run the GSP.
